UniFlex® flexible-bottom culture plates are used to apply uniaxial load to cells seeded on the membrane. Arctangle® Loading Station™ are inserted underneath the UniFlex® culture plates within the Baseplate when vacuum pressure is applied the membrane is deformed over the Arctangle® loading post creating a uniaxial tensile strain. The extracellular matrix Collagen Type I coating is the most versatile coating best used with continuous cell lines, primary cell lines, aortic, venous, capillary endothelial cells, cardiac muscle cells, chondrocytes, ligament, tendon fibroblasts, lung epithelial cells, osteoblasts, myoblasts, and myocytes.
