Tissue Train® Linear Foam Culture Plate
The Tissue Train® linear foam culture plates along with a Linear Trough Loader™ mold are used to create 3D linear shaped constructs. Researchers can apply tensile strain to the linear constructs and monitor cell shape, tissue organization, cell migration, division, gene & protein expression. The linear 3D cell seeded constructs are frequently used in applications for 3D intestinal organoids, tendon, musculoskeletal, cartilage research and tissue engineering. The extracellular matrix Collagen Type I coating is the most versatile coating best used with continuous cell lines, primary cell lines, aortic, venous, capillary endothelial cells, cardiac muscle cells, chondrocytes, ligament, tendon fibroblasts, lung epithelial cells, osteoblasts, myoblasts, and myocytes.
Works with the Tissue Train® System to create linear, tethered 3D cell-seeded constructs:
- Apply a load regimen of uniaxial cyclic strain to the 3D cell-seeded gel using Artangle® loading stations and the Flexcell® Tissue Train® System
- Mix preferred cell type in 3D collagen gel using a novel Trough Loader™ mold device
- Available in matrix bonded cerex nylon mesh or urethane polyester foam anchor tabs for improved cell attachment
- Packaged individually or in case quantity of 40 plates
